And the second part is going to analyze the figures’ background to show the historical necessity of the tragedies. Then the author will dig into the root causes of the tragedies in the fifth part， and sum up the whole paper to reveal the ideological weak points of the two countries separately in the last part. So the transformation of parts of speech is playing a more important role in English to Chinese based on different characteristics of English and Chinese. 　　首先，我想谈谈这个毕业论文设计的目的及意义。《红楼梦》是我国小说艺术成就的最高峰，从诞生至今，差不多已经将近有两个半世纪之久，关于《红楼梦》的研究论著汗牛充栋，归纳起来大概可以分为三大流派：评点派、索引派、考证派。他们求索《红楼梦》所影射的历史事件，研究曹雪芹的家世和生平，都是在试图探求《红楼梦》与社会生活的关系，却没有关注文本本身的创作价值。所以笔者认为，如果没有对《红楼梦》创作手法一个客观的认识和充分的研究，是无法较全面地了解这一历史巨著的。选择这个题目的意义在于：

　　1、对《红楼梦》中的象征主义手法加以详细的论述

　　2、通过对《红楼梦》文本的探析更进一步理解曹雪芹的创作思想。

　　3、通过这个研究有助于我们红楼艺术和红楼价值。

　　其次，我想谈谈这篇论文的结构和主要内容。

　　本文分成四个部分。

　　第一部分是引言。主要阐述《红楼梦》象征主义的价值和意义。

　　第二部分是定义什么是象征？

　　第三部分是主要阐述《红楼梦》象征主义的宣言与入门钥匙。主要表现在曹雪芹在文本中所蕴含的创作精神的.新突破和对太虚幻境中“真假有无”的探讨。

　　第四部分是《红楼梦》的象征系统。主要包括从符号和诗词酒令两方面看《红楼梦》的象征系统。其中符号象征系统包括总体符号系统、环境符号系统、物象符号系统和命名符号系统。

　　最后，我想谈谈这篇论文存在的不足。首先格式方面不够细腻谨慎，段前空格字符不一致，标点有疏忽。内容方面虽然收集了很多资料，但对《红楼梦》的象征主义的研究还只是停留在表面，对资料的整理和归纳不够严谨，有待改进。

　　the way of thinking and expressing is quite different between chinese and english. english is a kind of static languages which tends to use more nouns. while chinese is a dynamic one in which verbs are often used.

　　so when we make translation in english to chinese, we should know this point and shift the parts of speech.
